SUBMISSIONS

Submission calls for SOUNDEST are put out from time to time. However, submissions for future issues are always welcome for consideration on an ongoing basis. Please keep in mind that sending a submission does not guarantee its publication.

All contributors that are selected for publication will always receive a copy of the issue they are featured in as a thank you.

Submissions may consist of one or a combination of the following:

• articles

• graphic scores or action scores

• field notes

• essays

• images

• QR codes

• anything else that is printable

Written submissions

Written submissions must be under 2000 words.

Acceptable formats for text files include Word documents, Google docs, PDF, RTF, or basic text files. Please keep in mind that the zine has a default template (fonts, layout, etc.). If you have specific requests regarding fonts, formatting, etc., please specify this upon submission.

IMAGES

Images chosen for cover material must be high resolution (300 dpi) and colour.
Images chosen for inner pages will be printed in greyscale, and should be as high resolution as possible.

Keep in mind that each issue is A6 format (105 mm by 148 mm). This may effect the readability or clarity of detailed images.

Acceptable formats for images include JPG and PNG. All images should be sent as a separate attachment.
